We spent three years in the refurbished quarters of a former concentration camp.\n\nA legacy of silence informs my character. We came to the United States in 1952 where my two American siblings were born.\nI am a practicing clinical psychologist. In a former professional life, I was an academic librarian at Harvard. My undergraduate degree is in English and Classical Literature.\nI enjoy yoga, walking in nature, birdwatching, poetry writing, and travelling.\nI live in South Florida with my husband, the artist, Gunter Erik Hortz.\nTime's Hostage is my first novel.
